Product Description

Paddling with the right cadence is one of the most important and easiest ways to economize your paddling technique. The Vaaka cadence meter helps you check your cadence without getting in the way. It's easy to get started with cadence measurement during your workout. However, some heart rate monitors require you to set the training profile to Bike. You can analyze your training files including cadence after the workout in your heart rate watch analysis tool (e.g. Garmin Connect or Polar Flow).

Compatible with Garmin, Polar and Suunto models that support cadence sensors.

Cadenssensor

Jag är nöjd med produkten men förstår inte helt vad sensorn räknar som ett stroke, min Garmin Edge1030 tappar också kontakten med sensorn och måste väckas till liv vid varje start, saknar även en riktig App från Vaaka, lite tråkigt att man måste använda en cykelprofil för paddling!

Thank you for you review. We are aware that the Garmin, as well as most sport watches must be used in bike profile to allow to connect to cadence sensors in general. This is set by the watch manufacturers and applies to all kind of cadence sensors. We therefore write clearly in the product description '...the training profile must be set to Bike.'.
We actually recommend, when using bike mode, to simply rename it to kayak or paddling. If you use the bike profile for biking otherwise, you can also set up the cadence sensor with an additional bike profile, such as mountain bike, if this is offered by your watch manufacturer.

Cadence training for Kayak Marathon

It would be great if you could provide or point me to any technical information / papers on cadence training for Kayak Marathon. I have the documents from the VAAKA website however others would be welcome. The sensor works great but would be nice if it worked with the Kayak profile on my garmin INSTINCT which includes pace as well as speed. Overall a very good product delivered promptly.

Outside the EU

We currently do not ship to countries outside the EU. This includes European countries, as Norway, Switzerland and UK. If you want to order goods from Norway, you can choose delivery to a Poste Restante Address at a post office in Sweden.

Refund policy

If you want to return an item, please use our online returns portal. With us, you have a 30-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive the item. The item must be in new condition. New condition means that the item is unused and undamaged. Please also return the accompanying packaging & labels. You can choose between:

- refund (or crediting of the invoice)
- conversion to a gift card
- exchange of the product

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products that are customized for a specific customer (e.g. canoe orders where the canoe is produced according to the customer's specifications). However, the right of withdrawal applies to products that we customize for the customer but where variants can be selected in the online store (eg assembly of wing paddles). We offer free return shipping within Sweden.

For return shipments, we currently charge a freight fee of €8 for shipments up to parcel size. In the case of special goods (items that cannot be sent as a parcel) and company orders, the customer bears the costs for the return shipment.
